Everyone knows tax day is April 15. But, in 2017, April 15 falls on a Saturday, the 16th on a Sunday. D.C. observes emancipation day on the 17th, which closes down the IRS offices for some reason. So, procrastinators rejoice! 2016 taxes aren't due until the 18th this year (2017).
